A detox program is a structured process designed to help the body eliminate toxins and waste products. It typically involves specific dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and sometimes supplements or therapies to support the body’s natural detoxification mechanisms.

Our body is constantly working to remove toxins and unwanted matter from its various systems. Unfortunately, our modern lifestyles have not given our natural detox organs time to adapt to the demand of these times. So, no matter how healthy you may be, external factors still require you to give the body a chance to recharge and remove anything that may be holding you back from experiencing superior health and long-lasting vitality. A detox is your opportunity to give your body a break and allow your own self-cleansing and self-healing processes to kick into gear. Our bodies are innately intelligent and a period of cleansing is the perfect way to hit the reset button and start on a path to a healthier, happier, more vibrant you!

Our program is developed to be a 10 day program, broken into 3 parts and varies into 3 modes: Beginner, intermediate and advanced. Our Detox Code method developed by Dr. Silvana Laith allows you to move between any mode depending on how you are progressing through the program.

Each person’s reaction to cleansing is different. While some people feel alert and energized, others feel more lethargic than usual. You may find it easier to stay busy or prefer to take this time to rest. This is exactly why we have designed the Yearly Reset to be a luxurious yet relaxing escape from your busy life so you can listen to the signals your body is giving you through your journey. The body is going through a transformation and it takes energy to adapt. If you are tired, allow yourself to rest. Remember that this is not permanent and allow yourself to enjoy the journey. You’ll have everything you need in our luxurious and professionally attended facilities.

There are some typical side effects to detoxes and cleanses that are good to know about and be prepared for. You may experience some of these side effects, or you may not. It depends on many things, including how well you have prepared for the cleanse and followed the instructions before starting the program. For the first two days or so, detoxification is most noticeable as the body adjusts. Headache, fatigue, and minor skin blemishes are all common symptoms of detoxification, and should be embraced! This means your body is removing toxins! Make sure along with the juices you drink plenty of water to help flush out the toxins. Colonic hydrotherapy is also a great way to alleviate detox symptoms as this is a powerful way to remove toxins at a deeper level. The more pleasurable results of a detox or cleanse are soon to follow, and usually include healthier-looking skin, clear eyes, clarity of mind, improved digestion, and an overall sense of well-being and a positive mood. Regardless of the effects you feel on your journey, you will be joined by medical and wellness experts to support you and adjust the program if needed.

 

Again, this will depend on your type of detox. You may feel hungry the first 2 days but this feeling will rapidly fade away and you won’t feel it anymore. You will actually feel relieved to give your body a break from food. Youmay realize for the first time that your hunger or thirst often comes from habit rather than need and can change your relationship with food. However, it is always important to listen to your body and be mindful and present to what your body requires. While we can not guarantee the results someone will achieve on a detox, the vast majority of people who attend The Yearly Reset report 5, 10, 15 and even 20 pounds of weight loss during their stay. However, aiming at a certain number should not be the goal. Your body is ridding itself of toxins and this will likely have a different effect for each person. One of the great benefits of cleansing is reduced food cravings which will help you to make healthier food choices after the cleanse and keep yourself looking and feeling terrific.

It is 100% normal and healthy to feel low energy during The Yearly Reset. This is why our facilities are dedicated to maximum relaxation and recuperation. There is no need to do anything but listen to the messages your body is giving you. Your organs are working very hard to clean out and rejuvenate themselves during this time and the side effects can include fatigue.

The first step for ensuring proper toxin removal from the body is to build a good-functioning gut. Your gut is the source of everything and many health problems can be traced back to the gut.If your gut is not working properly, then the toxins build up locally, cause inflammation and initiate a number of health problems.

Don´t forget that your gut holds 70% of your immunity bacteria so by having a healthy gut, you are improving 70% of your immune system.

While other types of detoxes like liver, kidney, skin, and heavy metals are important – working on them is far less effective when you have a gut that is not healthy.

For optimal results from the program, we suggest preparing your body at least a week before by doing the following:

  • Stop caffeine
  • Stop cigarettes (if you can)
  • Stop alcohol
  • Stop added sugars
  • Stop fast food or any type of processed food
  • Stop gluten
  • Stop dairy
  • It’s recommended to eat alkaline forming food
  • It’s recommended to leave a window of at least 12 hours between your last meal and your first meal the second day
  • If you’re taking any treatment, please review with your doctor how to adjust the dosage.
  • Prepare your mind. If you are new to detox it’s good to prepare your mind, set your intentions, what is your goal from this detox and prepare your mind to be consistent so you can give your body the best reset ever. I recommend to have a journal where you can write how you feel every day of the detox
  • Take a picture before you start the program and one at the end so you will be able to compare and see the difference.

When done correctly, under professional guidance or with evidence-based programs, detox programs are generally safe for most people. However, it’s essential to consider your individual health condition and consult with a healthcare professional before starting a detox program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or take medications.

Most detox programs allow you to continue your regular activities unless otherwise specified. However, it’s beneficial to prioritize rest, reduce stress levels, and engage in light exercises such as walking or yoga to support the detoxification process.

It’s crucial to prioritize your health and the health of your baby during pregnancy and breastfeeding. They can provide you with guidance and help you make informed decisions about what is safe and appropriate for you and your baby.

Yes! As our name implies, it’s good to cleanse your body at least twice per year. However, it is important to allow your body time to rest and recover between detox cycles. It all depends how deep you go with your detox. Water fast 10 days maximum 3 x per year. A raw salad fast, you can do as many as you want. We suggest a mínimum rest of 4 months between cycles.
